Thread: Just wondering what everyone else finds the best software?WinOLS or Swiftec?
My opinion is WinOLS, it is a little bit intimidating at first but all requires practice, i am not a pro tuner (not yet) but i have been working with winOLS about five years with script and the regular maps, it was only a year back that i purchased the original winOLS and the upgrades help a lot, the one i am most found of is the copy map details and paste it in the new map such a simple little bit of code that saves so much time.
Swiftec i tried it and it is a good soft, but it isn’t the same thing however the working principle is the same and it as pre made map packs but it is a little limited and if you trust only in what it gives you it won’t be enough. The ECM which i consider being much like swiftec in some aspects is the same thing than i stated prior, it gives the drivers that are somewhat incomplete in some cases. They are always upgrading the drivers.
Swiftec way expensive but you have many features egr, dpf etc… ECM the map drivers, but it is annoying they have always the LOAD axle and you don’t even know what you are changing, the price i don’t even know because it isn’t a good solution (sorry…).
This is only my opinion related to the other tools subject, the dimsport one i don’t tried it so don’t have a opinion…
