I have 2 Corvettes, a Cadillac and a monte carlo ss. Recently I have been thinking about buying a GM Tech 2 scanner because I actually need a GM diagnostic tool from time to time. I am a former GM master tech but currently am a Nissan master tech and do not have access to a tech 2 anymore. I would like to buy a cheap Chinese GM tech 2 from ebay or anywhere else for normal diagnostic and ecm programming. But I do not know which seller is reliable, which is not.

Another member said that his brother has one from the shop, used it many times, had it for about three years. Works great, no problems. And the seller is great with questions and getting back to you on emails.
I am almost ready to pull the trigger on this one. But still, cannot be too careful, you know… I google the shop and find the sellers reputation is quite good. I buy one immediately.
I receive the tool this morning. Test it on my Corvette, works as it should be. The tool costs me US$342, $600 less than that on ebay. Money well spent! If you are looking for a cheap GM Tech 2 that works, you should really buy this one. Below is a picture of my Tech 2 scanner.
