Why the Kia Key Cut by Dolphin XP005L Cut is Shorter than Original?

Customer problem:

I used the dolphin xp005l to cut a Kia key, but after cutting, the new key groove was shorter than the working key.

What I did was as follows:

Tapped Vehicle database, selected Kia/Ceed, 2007-2010, KK10, followed the instruction to put the blank key on M5 clamp, and started to cut key.

Select [Universal Key Duplication] to operate again.

When it appears in the picture “M5 clamp Side B Tip align 2nd position”, please choose the 3rd alignment position manually, and cut again.
